Full Description: This property is located in a nice little town which has all amenities in north Cote d’Or (21) between Chatillon sur Seine and Tonnerre. There is a lovely square in the town with a large pond, it has bars, restaurant, pharmacy, convenience store, boulangerie, cinema, bank and school. It is also close to the much bigger town of Chatillon sur Seine which has a larger range of shopping (large supermarket, DIY store etc) and culture (cinema, theatre etc). The house is an end terrace with a shared courtyard at the front, shared with two other neighbours. As well as the front and back door, the house can be entered via a very large side barn (it is not possible to get a car into the barn) to a side entrance but only on foot, there isn’t any rear access to the property in terms of getting a car around. It is what I would call a higgledy piggledy house, with rooms and corridors all over and has all its original features. At the back of the house is a veranda which leads into a small raised garden, which is at the first floor level of the house accessed via stone steps. The garden is not communal it belongs to the property. It has nice, light and airy attics suitable for conversion and the roof requires attention, there is evidence of leaks and in our opinion it requires professional attention but not completely re-roofing, there is a chimney stack which needs removing. There is a very basic kitchen on the first floor, the property appears to have been divided into small flats at one time, there are external exits from the second and third (attic space) floors to the side of the house. The taxes combined are approximately 500 € per year. It is quite a difficult property to describe but there is a lot of property for your money and has to be seen, there isn’t any negotiation on the price
